A JOURNEY FROM FRANCE TO ITALY AND BACK TO FRANCE.

What’s it all about

Yes, this is a bit of a different format for me. Usually, I share only my work here on the website and post all the travel tips and details on IG. But this time, it felt unfair to let all the research and beauty of this trip disappear after just 24 hours in stories. So here we are - a photo reportage and travel guide hybrid. I'll split everything into three parts plus a little bonus: a taste of Paris. Each part has photos, locations, and a few tips. If you're like us - into atmospheric places, driving, exploring on your own, and of course, good food - you’ll find it interesting. And if you do, please share it on your social media; I'd really appreciate it.

A bit of backstory: before diving into a new chapter of our lives (I was 30 weeks pregnant at the start of this trip), we wanted to visit family in France and then go on what's called a "babymoon" - basically, a honeymoon before the baby arrives. We chose South France and North Italy for some swimming, good food, and beautiful nature - no air travel needed. The catch is, that these places are usually packed during the season, which isn't our idea of a relaxing vacation. So, we crafted an itinerary to enjoy all the best parts of these regions while dodging the crowds. And mostly, we succeeded. So, let's dive in.

And if you liked this kind of material, please share, or just let me know you did. Feedback is always great and highly appreciated.
